Sicilian Coffa

They are typical baskets obtained from the “curina”, the tender and very resistant part of the Sicilian dwarf palm leaves, which, when skilfully intertwined, gives life to the Coffa. So the Sicilian Coffa was originally a tool used in agricultural activities, as a basket for horse fodder or as a container for the transport of material placed on mules. Gusella Mnadalà drawing on the origins of a poor instrument, recalls it, giving it new life and lymph, making it unique thanks to the meticulous craftsmanship scrupulously performed by hand in every detail.

In his bags

In his bags, all made with natural materials and entirely handmade, G.M pours all his creativity and passion.
Each bag is unique and unrepeatable and it is precisely what will give each creation the character of a real work of art, in which fashion and tradition become the perfect combination.
The bags made with extreme attention to detail are embellished with various materials, such as handmade lace, ceramics, stones, corals etc.
